World University Rankings

In the World University Rankings 2024 published by Times Higher Education, the University achieved an important ranking success by taking place in the fields of "Engineering" and "Clinical and Health".

In the World Rankings 2024 by subject ranking, the University, which ranked in the 501-600 band in the world's field of engineering, found a place in the 801-1000 band in the world in the field of clinical and health.

Placing 9th in the field of Engineering in Türkiye, the University continues to make a mark both globally and nationally with its 5th place among state universities.

In the World University Rankings 2023 (World University Rankings 2023) conducted by Times Higher Education, the University has again achieved international success by exhibiting an increase among both world universities and Turkish universities compared to last year.

The University, which ranked 12th in last year's ranking, in which 54 universities from Türkiye participated, succeeded in ranking 8th in this year's ranking, in which 61 universities from Türkiye participated. The University, which was in the 1001-1200 band among 1662 universities in the world in the previous period, added a new one to its global achievements in the academic field by rising to the 801-1000 band among 1799 universities this year.

The University, which is also among the top 100 in the Industry Income category, continues its journey to the summit by achieving an increase in all categories.

The university proved its steady development in its regional-oriented development mission with its ranking in the "industry income" category in the World University Rankings 2021 published by Times Higher Education (THE), an important organization in international rankings.

In the organization in which the university participated for the first time, the university continued its development and rose both in Türkiye and in the world rankings in various categories. In the list of 1,527 universities from 93 countries, the university ranked 258th in the world in industrial income and found a place between 1000 and 1500 in other categories.

In the World Ranking of Young Universities, the University Ranked First Among the State Universities in Türkiye

In the Young University Rankings 2023, which was conducted by Times Higher Education and ranked the best universities in the world established in the last 50 years, the University ranked in the 251-300 band in the world. It ranked first among the state universities in Türkiye.

In the ranking of 963 universities from the world and 66 universities from Türkiye, the university has again achieved global and national success. The University, which ranked in the 251-300 band in the world, added a new one to its academic achievements by ranking 6th among the universities in Türkiye and ranked as first among the state universities.

The University, which ranked in the 351-400 band in the Young Universities World Ranking in 2021 and 2022, proved that it is a world university by rising 100 places in 2023.

Significant Success in the World Ranking in Clinical and Health Fields

The University has again achieved significant success in the ranking in the fields of "clinical and health" in the World University Rankings 2021 published by Times Higher Education (THE).

In the worldwide ranking announced by Times Higher Education in the fields of clinical and health, the University succeeded in ranking in the 600-700th percentile.

The Faculties of Medicine and Health Sciences and the University Hospital have made significant contributions to the success of the University, which specializes in the fields of environment and health, especially in traditional and complementary medicine.

Success of the University in the International Ranking of Developing Economies

The university has again achieved significant success in the Emerging Economies Rankings 2021 (Emerging Economies Rankings) published by Times Higher Education.

In the list where emerging economies and world universities are ranked according to various categories, Türkiye was ranked fifth after China, India, Brazil, and Russia in the country ranking in 2021. The university succeeded in entering the list, where 43 universities from Türkiye could take place, and found a place between 401 and 500. In 2022, the University ranked 301-350 in the world on the list of 54 universities from Türkiye.
