Düzce University achieved the top rank in the "Science" category among Turkish universities in the World University Rankings 2023 by Times Higher Education. Furthermore, it earned the distinction of being the leading state university in the "Engineering" category, solidifying its status as a world-class institution.

Acknowledged as a "Regional Development-Oriented Higher Education Institution" under the "Regional Development-Oriented Mission Differentiation and Specialisation of Universities Programme," the university exemplifies a crucial role in sustainable regional development, particularly in the fields of Health and Environmental Sciences.

The University fosters the social, cultural, professional, and personal development of our students through over 100 student communities. Additionally, it provides the chance to establish a company within Düzce Technopark, the region's hub for research and development, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Through business idea competitions organized by the university, students have the opportunity to kickstart their careers and turn their dreams into reality from the outset of their educational journey.

We provide our students with a wealth of opportunities, ranging from science to art, culture to sports, through our state-of-the-art facilities. These include a modern indoor sports hall, a sports complex featuring a semi-Olympic swimming pool, indoor astroturf and tennis courts, as well as a stadium with a capacity of 2,000 people.
